Global Boiler attended at the vessels dry-docking to perform a full boiler inspection and it was discovered that one of the vessels two boilers suffered from oil contamination to the water side.

This had caused extensive tube leaks and partly collapsing of the corrugated flame channel. A repair plan was rapidly developed in order not to delay vessel – and after return into scheduled service new tubes and corrugated flame channel was delivered onboard.



One of Global Boiler’s highly skilled repair teams followed the vessel for a period and repaired the boiler in full accordance to makers standard and LR class requirements and satisfaction.

After completion one of Global Boiler’s service engineers attended for a full commissioning and test of steam plant together with LR class surveyor.
